DELTA Aerospace SDN BHD and ATAS Aero Engineering SDN BHD have entered into a partnership to develop mutually beneficial aircraft maintenance and flight training collaboration.

Both organisations see the exciting potential of amphibious flight operations within the Asia Pacific region and fully expect that Malaysia will become the center of that aviation business growth once the first LA-8L, 8 seat Seaplane, marketed, distributed and fully supported by DELTA Aerospace, becomes operational in 2021.  

Hence, DELTA’s aircraft will be fully supported by ATAS for all Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) services, for Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) services and most importantly for all flight training requirements, to enable pilots to fly the DELTA Aerospace’s LA-8 aircraft and the smaller 2 seat Borey light sports and recreational aircraft. 

The MOU signed on 6 April 2021 is just the first step in both collaboration of our teams at all levels and the exponential growth this will provide our organisations, not only in the tradition market sector of land plane operations, training and commercial utilization but also the brand-new sector of seaplane operations and flight training and commercial utilization
